seed-and-beanEthical chocolate brand Organic Seed and Bean won the prize for Best New Packaging at the Natural Product Awards 2014.

Steve Rudkin, founder of Seed and Bean, says, “Our aim was to create packaging representing the essence of the brand. In truth our designers came through with something even better than we could have hoped. To now have it recognised by coming 1st out of 40 applicants in these industry awards is most rewarding. Trade enquiries are already starting, following the awards.”

Alex Durbridge, creative director Family (and friends), says, “It was a perfect brief for us – a product with such good qualities and a brand owners with such passion, but with packaging that lacked the visual and verbal tools to be its best salesperson. Our job is to get people to really take notice of Seed and Bean; to get them to understand the brand’s special difference at point of purchase.”
The strapline for the chocolate bars range is ‘Kaleidoscopic Moments of pleasure.’
