Puratos releases results of global survey
During a customer event in Chicago at the end of last week, Puratos has released the results of a large-scale in-depth survey into consumer attitudes and choices related to bakery, pastry, patisserie and chocolate. Both the survey and the event are part of Taste Tomorrow, an initiative started earlier this year by Puratos Group to offer its customers insights into consumer behaviour and to inspire them to innovate their businesses. The results of the survey include ten major trends with global reference and uncover clear differences between emerging and established markets.
Puratos Group and Grand-Place Holding sign joint venture in Vietnam
Today, Puratos Group and Grand-Place® Holding, two international groups active in the B2B supply of raw materials and ingredients to the food industry, have finalised the negotiations for a joint venture agreement in Vietnam, due to be in effect as of January 2013. The signing marks the start of a project that will support the growth of both Groups in the region.

National Chocolate Show registration free until Oct. 15
Attendees who register for the National Chocolate Show trade event between now and Oct. 15 will receive free admission. After Oct. 15, attendees will be charged an admission price of $25.
The National Chocolate Show premieres as the only tradeshow dedicated to the chocolate industry Nov. 16-18 at Chicago’s Navy Pier. The show will take place in conjunction with the consumer-targeted Chicago Fine Chocolate Show.
