Divine announces mission to find two ‘Chocolateers’

September 21st, 2012

A special highlight of Divine’s Chocolate Week activity this year is the launch of its mission to find two Divine ‘Chocolateers’. We’re on the hunt for two chocolate lovers who will be trained by our in-house chocolate expert and who will join him to become the Three Divine Chocolateers! The two winning entrants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to become fully-fledged chocolate specialists, and have the opportunity to host their own Divine chocolate demonstrations and workshops.

Divine’s current in-house chocolateer David Greenwood-Haigh says, “Taking people on a chocolate journey that takes in history, chocolate appreciation and Divine tasting is always a joy – and really enhances their enjoyment of chocolate. Add to this the unique story of how Divine came to be, and an insight into the world of the cocoa farmers of Ghana, makes each presentation and demonstration a really unique experience”. Some of the glowing feedback received includes, “I can only say it was a pleasure from beginning to end ” and “thank you for your most enlightening talk and demonstration. I learned so much about chocolate”.

Divine is on the look-out for lively, charismatic presenters who have a natural ability in the kitchen, a love of chocolate, and who are motivated by Divine’s unique story of farmer-ownership. The two successful candidates will get their own equipment and kit, be fully trained to run their own chocolate demonstrations, become fully-briefed Divine Ambassadors, and will receive a fee for each presentation given.

The campaign will be launched on the first day of Chocolate Week – Monday 8th October. To apply, entrants are asked to create a video of themselves making something in the kitchen (maximum 5 minutes) and fill out a submission form. The deadline for receiving videos is 21 December.
